Peter Donald spotted Audrey Tucker on NBC's  reality show Starting Over and convinced Mark to give her a call. After listening to their first Kim Parent demo, Audrey recorded the song, written by Mark, Steve Guidos and Ward Tolbert. Although it was recorded weeks before Gretchen Wilson's mega hit Redneck Woman, it failed to make it to the country pop charts because of the success of Gretchen's hit.
